Inspection & Diagnosis
The first step when working with us is to inspect and diagnose your machine, when we take care of your computer we will run extensive tests on our workbench to pinpoint problem areas and solve the issues you highlight to us as quickly and efficiently as possible!
You can bring the machine to our workshop or arrange for collection and drop-off with one of our courier staff!
OS Upgrades & Data Services
At Slash Codex we also offer Operating System Upgrades, Data Cloning, Data Back-up and Data Destruction services! The transition from Windows 10 to Windows 11 can be complex but we are equipped to migrate your machine from OS to OS without data loss (depending on your computer hardware). Your data is safe in our hands and we can duplicate, store or destroy your data at your request! We follow strict guidelines (GDPR and Data Protection laws specifically) to ensure data security and integrity. In the case of data destruction we use the DoD Wiping Standard, this means we use three (or up to seven if requested) passes to make sure your drive is completely clean before disposal. We also offer a recycling service for old hardware you no longer have use for!
New & Refurbished Machines
When you buy a refurbished machine from us you can rest assured that the hardware is thoroughly tested and inspected to ensure it is running at peak efficiency! Our refurbished machines meet the Grade B standard meaning that while they may have some light cosmetic damage the hardware inside is clean and running like new! Our new machines will have parts ordered to your specification to be built by us on-site to ensure strict quality control and a personal attention to detail provided by our technicians. All of our machines come with one year of free warranty, providing peace of mind and technical support should something go wrong in the first 365 days.
